Welcome to my cake web site! My name is Nalini and I am a wife, mother of three children and I’m a full-time medical technologist. The realization that I love baking cakes developed while my children were very young. I gradually acquired baking skills through classes, internet, books and the experience of trial and error. Over the years I've baked for family, friends and co-workers. It has been the most satisfying and amazing process. Baking has always been a hobby but now it has become a passion. I am excited to share my love of baking with you.
I am very particular about my cakes. The ingredients are always fresh and of the highest quality so that my cakes taste good. I make only one cake at a time just one to two days before an order so that the cake is always fresh. Each cake is custom tailored from scratch with unique designs and color combinations. I am a "one woman show". I consult with perspective clients, plan the design, buy the ingredients and supplies, do all the prep work, bake the cake, make the frosting and filling, clean-up and do the decorations all by myself; therefore, it does take me from 8 -12 hours or even longer sometimes to make a cake. I enjoy the process of creating lovely and tasty cakes. The culmination of all the time and effort I put into each cake is so worth it when someone tells me that my cake "looks awesome" and "tastes fabulous." It brings me great joy to share my cakes with you. I’m looking forward to having you on board my cake baking adventure!

"From the calls to the emails to constantly accommodating our busy pre-wedding schedules to introducing us to her wonderful family on pick-up day, Nalini injected her enthusiasm and attention to detail into every aspect of the wedding cake experience. To say that the end result looked exactly like Nalini's initial sketches is a fantastic understatement. The fact that she even made sketches for us speaks to the excellence of her commitment to customer service. To our families' surprise, we went with Nalini's highly acclaimed carrot cake. However, it took us longer to make the ceremonial first cut than it did our guests to devour every last crumb. The cream cheese frosting was so good, one of us personally cleaned the knife in front of the whole crowd, flashbulbs popping! But perhaps the best compliment of all came from one of our mothers, who doesn't typically try carrot cakes because they don't stack up to hers. In short, "it was as good as mine!" And like her daughter with knife from the first cut, she too cleaned every last bit of frosting from her plate. Everyone could not stop talking about her cake. It was beautiful, delicious and special and -best of all-absolutely unforgettable! Thanks, Nalini, for being an unforgettable part of our big day!
Lucy: I ordered a cake from Nalini for a special occasion - a wonderful and delicious carrot cake. The cake was very tasty and of a big size, so everyone got to enjoy it. I think it was the best carrot cake which I have ever eaten before :) I will definitely be ordering more cakes from Nalini in the future.

The cakes are rich and moist; the combinations most satisfying with fruits, liqueurs, finest chocolates and crèmes. It's a treat to have a tray full of her cupcakes, a feast of design and quite varied flavors to choose from. I wanted to taste them all.
Erick: I have tried two styles of cakes that Nalini has baked, the carrot cake and Italian rum cake. Both are delicious but the carrot cake was phenomenal. Just the right density and flavor and the frosting she uses complements the cake portion perfectly. They are so artistically decorated that you really hate cutting into them (just look at the photos). Treat yourself and have one.
